It’s been nearly two years since we last discussed the stream restoration project at Arbor Row, a small environmental remediation which also included a new asphalt trail connecting Jones Branch Drive and Westpark Drive.
The park has really evolved in that time. The jute mesh and stabilization measures are gone now, and a healthy stream understory is growing. Especially in the fall it will be a nice quiet respite in a busy and growing city. It’s also a good cut through if you are looking for a way between Westpark and Jones Branch Drive, especially if you are headed to the recreational fields on Jones Branch.

If you haven’t checked it out, take a look soon when the leaves are changing.
