With so many high rises popping up around Tysons, it is easy to forget about some of the smaller, but still important, infills occurring. We haven’t visited the Highgate apartment, being rebranded The Mile, in a couple months and in that time the insulation and framing was completed. We are now seeing the finishing installation of windows and the facade.
The Mile is a full community concept, focused on an outdoor and healthy life balance through amenities for its residents. Part of the project includes installation of new running paths, parks (including a new dog park), and good access to the recently installed Capital Bikeshare stations. The project is right at the one mile mark from the Tysons Corner Metro Station via Westpark Drive and Jones Branch Drive. The project is likely to begin leasing in the early Spring.
