When we last visited The Mile project located on Jones Branch Drive in Tysons, the windows were just going up. That was over two months, and since that time a lot has progressed as the project looks primed to begin leasing later this year. Where before insulation boards and balcony frames covered the new apartments, a nearly fully enwrapped facade now exists.
The Mile is PS Business Parks’ first apartment project in the new Tysons. Its location, about 1 mile from the Tysons Corner metro station, makes it an off the beaten path option for those looking for metro access, but also favoring a bit more with regard to outdoor spaces. With newly opened Ten Penh just down the street, and several other towers under construction or completed nearby, the Mile is another piece of the burgeoning urban fabric in town. Ultimately, there have been plans to turn the aging business park in this part of Tysons into a multi-phased mixed use development, and the Mile represents the first step in that vision.
