As a resident, commuter, or shopper in the Tysons area it can be disheartening that improvements for connectivity and safety have lagged far behind the completion of the Silver Line metro to town. There are signals of change in the air with officials and developers agreeing that changes need to be accelerated and trouble spots addressed immediately.
TyTran and the Tysons Partnership are looking for input from the public to help gather information on where problems exist in order to coordinate these pedestrian short-comings with FCDOT. More eyes and more input means better data on needs, so if you truly want to see Tysons become a more habitable place to live, work, or play please provide your own thoughts.
How can you assist?
If you are at the location of the needed pedestrian improvement, take a picture, and tweet or facebook post it with us tagged @TheTysonsCorner, along with a location and short description of the problem.
If you don’t have a picture you can still tweet or facebook post with us tagged, or you can submit a comment in the comment thread below. Help write the next chapter of Tysons by being part of the change.
