Several people have contacted me this past week about a massive tent being assembled on the vacant lot behind Crate & Barrel. The tent was erected with numerous cranes and is visible from both Route 7 and Route 123.
The answer, Peter Pan Live is coming to Tysons in what is being called the three-sixty theater. The show appears to combine one part story telling with one part Cirque du Soleil acrobatics while flying above the heads of the audience. The specialty tent that allows for the production is 100 feet tall, can hold nearly 1500 spectators, and takes up all of the asphalt lot that previously stored miscellaneous industrial equipment.
The production will run from June 24th through August 16th. Tickets start at $25 and are on sale at PeterPan360.com.
